Frameless shower doors are a very luxurious finish to a new bathroom, especially the clear glass style. When cared for properly they always sparkle and shine and just exude richness. We used them in two bathrooms in our house and after 3 years we could not be happier. We squeegy them after every shower and treat them about once a year. They are so easy to care for it is unbelievable. If you prefer not to have the clear glass, frameless glass shower doors come in many, many designs. At eShowerDoor.com, you can choose from an etched frosted tiger on clear glass or an etched clear tiger on frosted glass. Various stripe designs, flames, a rose arbor, cathedral design and customs designs including a bamboo design. Or choose anything you can think of - they show one they did which was copied from a soap ad in a magazine. All designs can be done either frosted on clear or clear on frosted. For our frameless glass shower door hardware we chose satin nickel for one application and shiny brass for the other. Both are gorgeous, and we were able to choose from bronze, chrome or white in addition to the two we chose. All metals come in two or three finishes; polished, brushed and satin. If you are on a smaller budget, think about installing a semi frameless glass shower door instead of the frameless and you will save a substantial amount of money. You will achieve nearly the same look and with all the choices available in colors and finishes for the frame you can accent the bathroom with it. Frameless sliding shower doors take up less space than hinged swing doors and are a fabulous option for a bath tub. This framless tub shower door option will cost approximately $750 at 70 inches high and 48 inches wide in the 1/4 inch clear glass framed in chrome. This is for a double door sliding bypass model for a four foot opening. For a larger size, thicker glass, designer glass or upgraded metal the price will of course change. If your current bathroom has the perfect corner for a new shower, frameless neo angle shower doors are available in many styles. The floor to ceiling completely frameless is exquisite and will run about $1500 for a 92" height with a 26" wide center door and two 20" wide side panels. This is done in 3/8 inch clear glass with standard colored hardware. Again, change the size up or down, customize the glass or choose a premium hardware and the price will change. The same size shower enclosure with a header rail instead of glass all the way to the ceiling is about the same price.
