Cliff-s.com has more western lamp shades than you can look at in one sitting, let alone choose which one you want to decorate with.  Most of them appear to be dyed and hand painted on the inside so you only see the image when the light is turned on.  They are very unique and would be fun to decorate with.  They also have some antique lamp shades and a ton of other western stuff - a fun site with reasonable prices.

Found this great End of the Trail Hand Painted Lamp Shade at Bonanzle.com.  This one is $90, but seller says they paint custom shades and says any painting you see on their site can be painted on a hide, lamp shade, cow skull, or leather pillow.  This could come in handy for custom items - perhaps an item you already own could use a paint job.  Great gift idea as well.

Ashling Designs.com has western , southwestern, animal and wildlife theme lampshades made from Chamois leather which they say is far superior to rawhide.  Leather is a great material for a lamp shade but we think it is hard to agree that anything is superior to rawhide.  They say on their site they collect some of their lamps from various sources and they are one of a kind.  We love to decorate with one of a kind items - they are great conversation pieces should someone ask about them.  Check them out for both lamp shades and one of a kind lamps

For those of you fond of horses, Innerlight Lamps.com has original screen printed parchment paper lamp shades with horse scenes on them.  There are three designs each available on two types of paper - one called Pinto and one called Volcano.  We love the latter one - it is great for southwest decor.  They are $48 each and you have to see their very rustic horse shoe wood lamp base which is $82.

For a really light colored but gorgeous western lamp shade, this one is available at Sunland Home Decor  for $43.  It would be lovely with a dark lamp base sitting on a dark table.  This picture is rather small but the design on this is great multi-colored southwest design which would certainly work with a western or southwestern decor.  They show the white shade with a weathered rust three arrow lamp stand that is absolutely fabulous for $60.  Another lamp shade at this same site is entitled Roundup and it is also priced at $43. There are too many fabulous southwest decorating items at this site to mention them here so be sure to visit.
