Rustic Southwest Metal Wall Art...This fabulous piece of large metal wall art
we bought at a local store which is now out of business or I would give
you the link and or address. Metal pieces are some of my favorite wall
art. It is about 28" x 54" and with our high ceilings we need items of
this size to decorate in proportion. It is now a piece of southwest
metal wall art because I have renamed it such - the feathers look very
southwest don't you think? Don't recall what country it is from but I
loved it and I think it looks like it would bring good karma into your
house. It was about $250 or $300 and for the size relatively not
expensive. The wall we hung it on is only about 2 feet wider than the
piece and it looks like it was made for the space. It is great when
decorating turns out that way. A woman at the design center where we
purchased our carpet says she likes decorating when it makes the house
look like it all "grew" to it's current state. Great visual...

Kokopelli Metal Wall Art...
This copper colored metal wall art piece with five little Kokopelli
guys holding hands hangs in our half bathroom. I bought it at Earth Studio Moab.com to
represent my husband, three sons and myself. It is about 10" x 20" and is now $24. They also have the same item with two, three or four hand holders. I
have several kokopellis in the house and my granddaughter once asked
why I have those little guys everywhere. If you do a search for
southwest metal wall art or kokopelli wall art you will find some
pieces you are sure you can't live with out - remember, don't buy
anything unless it makes your "socks roll up and down". Even if it is
only $10. We even have a piece of outdoor metal wall art of the Kokopelli just off our back yard deck. Kokopelli Metal Wall Art under $30

Southwest Primitive Sun Metal Wall Art... Hanging over a cabinet in our kitchen, this primitive sun is copper rust color and 24" in diameter. It has a light shining up on it
from our strung copper wire lighting. We have another larger one just
like this on an upstairs wall. We decided to use the sun and sun art
in several areas. The artist installing our slate floors agreed to put
the sun in slate in our entry. We had so much fun watching him work on
this project. I used some of the left over slate pieces for floor trim
around our venetian plaster entertainment center and I too put the sun
in my project. Sun art project
The use of metal wall art decor walls helps balance out the usually heavy rustic furniture in southwest home decor. We like to use rustic cowboy items along with lyrical kokopelli items and cowhides along with red leather. Try it out - it all looks great together.
