The Mexican Pottery at ArizonaPottery.com will make "your socks roll up and down".* The colors, glazes and shapes you find in the ceramic pottery section are fabulous. They import from China, Indonesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Mexico and more.  In addition to Mexican ceramic pottery, they offer fiberglass, terra cotta, concrete pots and many more - an excellent source.

The use of pottery in southwest decor is nearly endless. If you have high ceilings in the kitchen pots are great on top of the cabinets.  Smaller shallow pots are not only decorative but functional on bathroom counters to hold wash cloths; larger ones work well placed by the tub area for hand towels.  Pottery is so diverse; the smaller sizes can hold hairbrushes, the shallower almost flat bowl styles are perfect for pine cones and at Christmas time you can fill with the glass balls.

For fabulous Mexican Talavera pottery, including sinks, tile, platters, plates, urns, vases, and cannisters visit Galleria Elegante.com.  Here you will find a very large selection of stunning talavera pieces.  We have yet to do it, but a goal we have is to do an all talavera bathroom; the sinks, the counters and the floors.  It would be very challenging finding all the right designs to accomplish this without it turning out gaudy.  When we do it, we will place pictures here...

Vintage Mexican Pottery pieces make great decor items in a southwest home.  The Bungalow Store.com has a wonderful selection of beautiful items in this category.  As they say on their site their inventory is constantly changing.  Another source is Vintage Mexican.com.  And the wonderful vintage mexican pots show here are at GoAntiques.com.  Seller says they are from the 1960's and all three pieces are for one price - $75.  They offer other vintage pieces and also have an ever changing inventory.

In our search for Antique Mexican Pottery we found these Antique "Tamalero" Pots at Mexican Style.com.  They are Glazed Ceramic pots once used to steam tamales.  Seller says Colors & Sizes Vary, and comes the following sizes: 23 inches deep by 25 inches high to 29 inches deep by 31 inches high.  Priced at $450 to $70.   This same site has fabulous Antique Ceramic Pitchers with a green-orange glaze and applique designs.  Sizes and shapes in these vary and you should contact seller for inventory.
