A massive southwest coffee table is a perfect piece of rustic furniture for a family room or great room.  If you have a heavy rustic cabin-like or southwest sofa you can get away with a wood and leather table adorned with Mexican clavos (nail heads).   A wrought iron and leather round coffee table or a wooden table with a talavera tile top would both make a fun statement.  You can find tables to mix and match if you want talavera on the center table and not on the end tables.

Wrought iron and pine southwest coffee tables are perfect for any rustic, western, southwest or Mexican style decor.  Choose from round, square, rectangular with many end tables to match.  Round coffee tables require a certain furniture arrangement but are so attractive in a southwest decor.  Pine furniture is lightweight and is perfect for distressing yourself, staining, adding clavos to and even attaching saguaro ribs to.  Find a simple inexpensive pine table and build your own artistic table.  This is a very inexpensive way to have your own custom dining room table - just find one and work it over.  Cheat like we do and design it after one you find in a southwest magazine.

Rainbow Copper specializes in glass top coffee tables with gorgeous custom designed metal welded bases.  Their bases come with your choice of designs including  kokopelli, gecko, sacred ground, sun god, thunderstorm, desert coyote, kokopelli or saguaro.  The glass tabletops have a 1" bevel and are 3/8" thick.  The bases come in rainbow copper, rust brown and campfire black colors.

To see beautiful talavera tile in every pattern imaginable visit Rotas Mosaic.com.  They are located in Texas and it appears if you contact them you can order a table in many different forged iron and powder coated bases.  Good luck trying to pick your favorite tile.

This very ornate southwest coffee table was on craigslist.  Proving you can decorate on a budget if you work at it.  Especially in southwest decor where color (and lots of it) is acceptable, an inexpensive ordinary table can be purchased used and painted to go with wherever you need it.  Clavos can be purchased at the hardware store and applied to add texture and character.
