Decorative Southwest Baskets above this turquoise entry door makes a stunning statement. Mexican baskets, Native American Baskets ![]() Custom Search Southwest Wall Art - Master Bedroom Baskets...Purchased this basket poster for our bedroom wall from one of the online poster stores. I had them mount it on canvas and it turned out great. It is 36" x 48" and is a pretty inexpensive way to cover a lot of wall space above the sliding glass doors in our bedroom. Some of the prints of Southwest Baskets I had looked at were in the thousands of dollars and were much more authentic looking but since they did not "make my socks roll up and down" I settled for this and I am very happy with it for now. It has all the southwest colors I used in that room as well as the little petroglyphs on 3 of the baskets. Southwest Art - "Crimson Storm" by Raymond Nordwall... This Giclee of an original oil by Raymond Nordwall is just one of many I would like to have from him. He is my favorite Southwest Artist thus far. I first saw one of his paintings in the house in St. George responsible for my Southwest Decorating fetish. This one is titled "Crimson Storm" and I am still enamored with the colors in it. You can purchase giclees of many expensive paintings. Eventually you can probably purchase posters of them - but I have not seen this one as a poster. Visit Raymond Nordwall's Gallery or shop for his posters at Posters of Santa Fe.
Metal wall art is a fantastic way to decorate your walls for a very southwest flavor. Prices range from very affordable to only the rich and famous. Metal pieces now come in every color and shape imaginable... See More Metal Wall Art
Slate Backsplash in our Southwest Kokopelli Bathroom... Slate and tile can be used to customize your walls and it is not a difficult "do it yourself" project. I used leftover slate pieces from our random slate floor to decorate our Kokopelli bathroom with a custom backsplash. I used a mastic and just stuck the slate pieces to the wall randomly, breaking pieces as needed to have smaller pieces, until I felt it was finished. I did not grout it yet and most people who see it think I should leave it as is shown here Slate backsplash For more bathroom decor see bathroom etageres. Venetian plaster is the ultimate wall decor in southwest decorating. It is so warm and so luxurious to live with and can be applied in any color, customizing every room in the house.
