An appropriately placed wall mirror can change a whole room, even making it feel a different size. A narrow entry is immediately opened up with a mirror on the wall and the same is true of a hallway which needs to seem wider or lighter. A large unframed beveled wall mirror is a very elegant yet simple large wall mirror which can be used with any decor. We personally used two large unframed bathroom wall mirrors, one over a vanity and the other a full length wall mirror. The one above the double sinks we wrapped in travertine tile and it is just such a clean look. In the cowboy room we used an antique round wall mirror which is framed in oak. It is very subtle and great with a western decor. The entry has a 4 foot by 3 foot cowhide and wood framed mirror decorated with clavos and it is certainly a conservation piece when people arrive at the home. The very custom southwest kokopelli bathroom has a Mexican style arched frameless wall mirror which is just perfect for the half bath. Southwest and Beyond has a large assortment of metal framed round, oval, arched and rectangular wall mirrors which are all great with a southwest decor. The rectangular ones are approximately 22 inches by 30 inches and can be hung vertically or horizontally; they are available in a coffee cream, copper or silver tin and they all retail for $125. The round wall mirror is 28 inches in diameter and is available in the same colors and also in talavera tile with the tin. Without the talavera the round ones are $125 and with the talavera they are $175. At the time of this writing all these mirrors are on sale so be sure to check the current prices. We love this arched mirror we have shown and the seller calls it the Tin Mirror Arched Folds Copper mirror. It is approximately 23 inches by 31 inches and retails for $160. Would be great in a southwest bathroom with these Floating Shaman wall sconces at Lightcrafters.com. Turquoise and copper are fantastic together and the sconce is 17.5 inches tall so will not overpower the mirror. Add this turquoise kokopelli metal wall art piece from Earth Studio Moab.com and you have a good start on a very southwest bathroom. It is approximately 17 inches by 17.5 inches and retails for $29.95. We would even like an orange paint behind it and think it would work great on one wall with these three items in the room. For a pine and quisco framed rectangular mirror to add texture to your southwest decor go to Touch of Class.com. The 34 inch by 24 inch framed mirror there can hang horizontally or vertically and retails for $179. They also have a mirror and coat rack combination in the same quisco cactus and pine frame which retails for $249. Seller calls this a "functional mirror and work of art all in one piece". If you really want to make a statement pick this up and then decorate an entry, hallway or bathroom around it. It is available at Sonoma Gifts.com for $135 retail in this finish called lazart fusion and in an additional finish called honey pinion for $150 retail. Measuring just 23 inches tall it could even go in a large niche.
