The designs available are the Sun Face, Lizards with Flowers and Sun and Moon and they are hand crafted from the mineral rich clays of Mexico. They have the rustic appeal of Mexican Pottery. This site also sells terra cotta and copper wall sconces in your choice of wired or unwired for unbelievably low prices. For wall sconces in the style of Old World tin workers, go to Casatalavera.com. The seller says: "Each piece is hand-crafted in Mexico's artist mecca, San Miguel de Allende, a town long-revered for its master metalworkers and ceramists." Their sconces are available in tin, pewter, brass and oxidized finishes and are very rustic. You will feel like you are in Mexico on vacation if you decorate with these.
Custom Search Illuminaries.com has very ornate Mexican wrought iron sconces in many styles. One way to decorate in a southwest decor is to do different styles in different rooms. This style would be perfect for a Mexican southwest bedroom. We will definitely be using this light/pillow combination in a home soon. Southwest and Beyond has great southwest wall decor and their hand crafted ceramic Mexican wall sconces are very reasonably priced. The rustic clay cactus model is 11" wide and 9" tall, so is sized very differently from the others which are almost always taller than they are wide. You can also find some round sconces in a sun design which shows a great pattern at night. We use the sun design a lot in our decorating and it is available in so many decor items from bedspreads to tables. There are so many fantastic Mexican wall sconces it will be hard to choose.
