Petroglyph wall sconces - There are so many it is hard to choose just one - we want one of each. The use of Petroglyphs in southwest decorating is another one of our favorites. We find them so intriguing and they are currenty available in so many decorative forms. There is fabulous metal wall art, baskets, southwest rugs and very authentic rock carvings available with petroglyphs on them. You can even find them on glassware! The kokopelli comes originally from a petroglyph and he now is not the only one which has gained popularity. The petroglyph owl, ram, shaman, turtle and big horned sheep are some of the other figures found carved into rocks dating back to prehistoric peoples that have now become popular.

This wall sconce is wonderful with so many of the petroglyphs on them. The color would be so fun with the popular red and turquoise used so much in southwest decorating. You could use it to brighten up an entry.and maybe mix in a red leather shag rug. This more neutral one might work better for you. We love them both and they each make a very different statement for decorating. Either would be great in a pair in a half bath with perhaps some wall etchings and wrought iron wall decor petroglyphs to go with it. A half bath does not need a lot of light and sconces are great in half bathrooms. The very authentic style of the sconces would be very fun to decorate around. The bathroom etagere at this seller would be nice with them and would not overpower the intricate drawings on the wall sconces.
